Does anybody know where I stand with this? Does he need a party wall agreement?

Not sure about party wall but surely he can't just knock his side down...
Is it a stone wall that runs along the boundary separating your half from his, or just a sheet of wood?
I'm sure if he purposefully caused damage to your half you would have a claim through insurance.0 -
Thanks for the reply ST1991.
The boundary is a sheet of wood. It's kind of like a structure that has stone sides far left and right, stone rear (a wall), and a stone roof (so one big space). This is then divided with wood inbetween and a couple of door frames and doors on the front.
There is a path on the boundary of our two properties (nothing inbetween to separate us) and the toilet block is on its own at the far end of this path, hence not the usual situation where you might have a wall or something between the two properties.0 -
I would have thought that what you describe is a party wall.0
