White goods!

Ok so I need to buy a washing machine and fridge freezer.
I've budgeted £400 for the washer and £300 for the fridge freezer.
What are the best brands/value for money in this price range? I've been looking at some low end Bosch/Samsung models around these prices - is there an online concensus as to which is best?
Or should I just go buy whatever is has the most money off on the Currys website?
Thanks MSEeeers!

Bosch Siemens and Neff are about the best but you will pay a premium for them
Wouldn't touch Zanussi or Beko
At the end of the day you get what you pay for0 -
had a zanussi washer and a beko fridge freezer for over 10 years, no problems with either. Unless your buying Miele or Neff they are much the same whoever it is0

Personally I would go for Bosch but I wouldn't go near Currys PC World, look at John Lewis website.0

For my next washing machine I'm going to look at these guys - made in the UK and offering 5 and 10 year guarantees. £500 for a machine with a 10 year guarantee seems pretty good.

Look at the AO webite. You can narrow your search by size, colour etc, and read thr reviews which are truthful if reviews of my washing machine are anything to go by.
I've had a Beko fridge/freezer for the last 20 years, and they've never let me down.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0 -
Go to your local independent retailer, chances are they can do a better deal, probably even fit/deliver them for free and take away your old appliances for free (I know ours do).0

Not sure about the fridge, we have separate items. In your price range you could get a Siemens, Bosch, LG or Samsung?0

We got all our new white goods from Coop Electrical online, after deciding what we wanted. We found voucher codes which made them very competitive on price. We got Bosch integrated oven and dishwasher and happy with all of them.0

pricespy is good for checking the history of prices.
these things are in/out of sales all the time
£400 for a washer will gte into decent Bosch options not sure about the FF, mine keeps going a Samsung.
Grundig(Beko with 5 y warranty currys only)are worth a look currys you need to catch a low point on price with those.
have a look at the sites for an idea of the features that come with these white goods so you can have a think about what you want in your machine.

Used Bosch appliance for years.
Seem to me to be mid range priced.
AO.com have a discount if you buy more than one item off them.
I would decide what model etc you what & then do some internet trawling.
The price differences can be huge............0
