Hi can anyone help I will try to keep it brief :rotfl
Offer accepted on house....April 13th, advertised as no chain
sellers pull out beginning of May
We are then told 17th may they want to sell, they are sorry to have messed us around and they wont do it again. They are now buying a house. Estate agent said they said they are willing to move out if our house progresses faster.
Been ready now since end of June, deposit and solicitors fees paid, survey done all our enquiries answered. Waiting for their house to be completed, estate agent said exchange and completion should be end of july early august, but still waiting for answers. They never seem to answer calls or emails from estate agent, they are waiting for enquiries to be sorted on their side but we were told all had been sorted? Its really frustrating! being told different things :-(

Looks like they are ignoring any contact to allow time for their own purchase to progress to exchange, so that they don't have the additional expense associated with buying and selling separately, despite what they promised you.
Comes down to whether you are prepared to walk away from the property or not. Otherwise, any threat to withdraw would be an empty bluff.0
