Best floor paint?

Can anyone recommend a particular floor paint? - or any water-based eggshell / satin paint that is super hard-wearing?

We are having our front door repainted as well as our floors (kitchen / bathroom), and I had been considering just using Dulux Weathershield Quick-drying Satin for both.

But then it occurred to me that weather resistance might not necessarily be quite the same thing as a surface that is chip / scratch resistant...?

What are the floors made of?

I have used International Floor paint and Garage Floor paint on concrete floors in garages and outbuildings and it's very good.

I don't think I'd be paying someone to do it though. It's easy to apply.

Remember, when painting floors always aim to end up by the door.;)

    hehe

Floorboards in kitchen and bathroom - water-based paint strongly preferred.

Didn't you ask a similar question recently?

You want something tough for kitchens/floors. An epoxy resin based paint/varnish for example. Water based will not last long before it marks.
For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple and wrong.

    OK thanks for that
