The annual celebration, held on 1 August, is even better this year, as Leeds Basque restaurant Pintura Kitchen and Bar and the grand country home Harewood House have combined forces to launch a pop-up at Trinity Leeds shopping centre. Harewood House will be providing the booze, while Pintura will bring the pinxtos (small Basque plates). It’s a winning combination, and it’ll be running from 31 July–6 August, pairing the very best gins with the most delightful pinxtos possible. It promises to be one of the hottest tickets in town.
