I bought some sash window fasteners from Screwfix, and they were fine. I also had a very small casement window I needed a stay for, and found that Ironmongery Direct had a good range. The service was good too - one of the items I ordered was out of stock so they offered to supply it from a more expensive range instead - and upgrade the rest of my order to match!0
