Looking to do up my bathroom . Budget wise I am looking towards mid range , don't fancy b&q too cheap or the likes of Burlington too dear . Any recommendations of suppliers of toilets , sinks , baths and electric showers that are fit for purpose without breaking the bank . Soak , Victoria Plum or Bathstore I am thinking of or are these like b&q and I need to go higher ? Cheers

You need to consider the brands of the items rather than where you get them from.
My bathroom is a mixture brands, Carron bath and Vitra ceramics. Hudson Reed Taps and shower. We found what we liked and looked for the best prices, local store also price matched.0 -
Thank you . So which brands should we avoid and which are value for money ?0

I'd call Burlington a mid-range.
B&Q is around the same level as the other brands you're describing.
At some level things are too cheap and a false economy. Look for long guarantees.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Thank you, I realise some items are so cheap to be pretty useless which I want to avoid so if the Burlington price range gets me a reasonable product for reasonable money that is the price range I will look at . Any other brands at that level I should consider ?0

We recently had our bathroom, ensuite and downstairs toilet replaced and went mostly for Vado and Flova for brassware (taps, shower fittings, valves, etc), Montrose cabinets, I think we went for Saneux sinks and toilets in the end (we got through a lot of brochures).
Out fitter guided us a lot and we are really pleased with the finished rooms."We act as though comfort and luxury are the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about” – Albert Einstein0
