Forgot to pay by phone

I didn't have cash on me, planned to pay by phone on the train then couldn't get a signal and then simply forgot to pay.
I was hit with a £100/£60 ticket from Indigo for parking that costs £4.50 a day at the train station.
Do I have any right to appeal or should I take it on the chin? - Thoughts please?

Same as all other Indigo cases, please read other ones, all won at POPLA. Never say who was driving (and other threads say how to get round that, not difficult on their appeals page). No-one here pays private parking charges!

And at POPLA stage include the new appeal point about them impersonating authority by calling the charge a 'penalty' then pretending in fact it's a contractual parking charge. Covered in the Lewes station Indigo thread last week.

What you need to understand is, winning these appeals is nothing to do with what happened.
