Simplest way to Skype

I was thinking I have a unused android phone with no sim I could put Skype on and use my wifi in house (or travelling) to speak to friends as right now I talk to friend via computer which is awkward if I have to go to kitchen or want to go into bedroom.

But your thinking is pretty good. You may need to have a simple card to get your phone functioning correctly but if so just buy a cheap pay as you go one for a pound of two, download the app and off you go....0
