Pregnant by music? Yes we said it, pregnant by music! This July the ultimate coming-of-age film bursts on to the big screen. Electrick Children is about a 15 year old Morman girl called Rachel who discovers a cassette tape with rock music on it. Having never heard anything like it, she has a miraculous experience and three months later, claims to have had an immaculate conception from listening to the music. Rachel runs away to LAS VEGAS to search for the man who sings on the tape, thinking he has something to do with her mysterious pregnancy...crazy huh!

It's not on the big screens until July 13th but you lucky folk have the chance to see it before it's out in cinemas for free at our Slackers Club event this month – free for all Slackers Club members – taking place on Thursday 12th July in Picturehouse Cinemas across the land. And all you need to do to bag yourself a ticket is head down to your nearest Picturehouse armed with your trusty Slackers Club membership card.
