Blood Brothers: Starring Mel C – 200 free tickets
Blood Brothers: Starring Mel C – 200 free tickets
Melanie C, the chart-topping star of the biggest girl band of all time – The Spice Girls – is to make her theatrical debut in Blood Brothers. Her opening performance on Monday 26 October will mark the first by a Spice Girl in a West End musical.
Liverpool born Melanie will star as Mrs Johnstone in Willy Russell's legendary West End smash hit, one of the longest running shows in musical history. Melanie is taking on the iconic role in the year that Blood Brothers celebrates its 21st birthday at London's Phoenix Theatre.
The incredible score includes Bright New Day, Marilyn Monroe and the emotionally charged hit Tell Me It's Not True. Few musicals have received quite such acclaim as the multi-award winning Blood Brothers, which, having opened in 1988 to tremendous acclaim continues to enjoy standing ovations at every devastating performance. No wonder Blood Brothers is now 'The musical for all time'.
There are 100 pairs of free tickets available to see Blood Brothers on Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 October 2009 at the Phoenix Theatre, Charing Cross Road, at 7.45pm.

The Spanish Tragedy - 200 free tickets
The Spanish Tragedy - 200 free tickets
Watched by the ghost of a young soldier and the mysterious figure of Revenge, the leaders of war-torn Spain and Portugal plan a marriage between their families in the hope of forging peace.
But the bride to be already has a lover. When he is murdered to make way for the new groom, his father Hieronimo (Dominic Rowan) is forced down a brutal path of vengeance from which there is no return.
A sensational hit in its day, The Spanish Tragedy was the first revenge play on the English stage and influenced a whole new wave of drama including Shakespeare's Hamlet. This taut and visually inventive production rediscovers the play as a ferociously powerful exploration of grief, violence, and the human need for justice.
We have 200 free tickets available to see The Spanish Tragedy, 50 pairs for Wednesday 21 and 50 pairs for Thursday 22 October 2009.The production starts at 8pm.

I got an email from them today saying that I'm on the reserve list. I guess that's equivalent to saying "you've got no chance!". LOL!Life's what you make it....
"I've got one, two, three, [STRIKE]four[/STRIKE], [STRIKE]five[/STRIKE]... senses working overtime..", XTC.
