compensation!

Options
I recently bought a cartridge for my printer from a company on Amazon which leaked everywhere. The company refunded the money right away but the only comment they made was that it can happen. I suspect the cartridge was a counterfeit because it jammed the printer & on inspection did not have the same details on the side of the cartridge as the original. The company has an excellent reputation, that is why I chose them but they are not interested in more than a refund, I posted a photo showing the two cartridges side by side. The printer is now unusable, is it reasonable to ask for compensation?

Did you buy the cheapest one, or compatible one! If so, then I'm afraid the printer manufacturer will not be interested!

I have had new cartridges from hp that have leaked, possibly due to faulty electronics, because the printer emptied 2 cartridges in days (was told this later), and after carrying that printer was lucky that I was wearing black jeans at the time
  • OK Try the consumer boards further down! (MODS could move this?)

What processor, I/O or operating system does this "compensation" rely on?
