Repairing running jacket

I uld stitch this given it is about one inch up from the bottom anyhow.
I wouldn't stitch the sleeves or back but the hem, yes.Norn Iron Club member 4730 -
Ok thanks everyone.
After a bit of digging I noticed that the brand of jacket I have has got a 'flagship store' in London. Popped along and they've agreed to have it repaired under warranty despite it apparently being 7 years old! Only issue is that it might take up to 6 weeks. They've given me some tape as a temporary fix until I can bring it in.
Very happy really!0
