Early leaving fees
In April this year I switched gas and electric supplier for my Father-in-law. Sadly he passed away in May. I have now (after lots and lots of wrangling with First Utility) got them to change the account holder name to my mother-in-law. Yesterday we received a bill for early leaving charges for both gas and electric. No gas or electric usage as all utility use was paid up to date. Should they be charging this in these circumstances, after all we are not moving from First Utility, just changing the name on the account.
