I have done something silly and can't find outlook now.
I used to go to the squared box in the bottom left corner and could see all of my regularly used programs; like outlook, google chrome, etc. but now I can only see all programs that have been installed (I think). Outlook is not included.
Please help as I do need this application.
For info, I have installed an old version of msoffice, which is not compatible with windows10, but as all apps (word, excel, outlook, etc.) are working, I can live with it.

Type outlook (or office) in search/Cortana - all should appear.
Right-mouse click the results will then let you then "open containing folder" which is where some people like to work.If you put your general location in your Profile, somebody here may be able to come and help you.0 -
Type "outlook" into the search bar and you should find it that way, or go into the full list of programs.
Failing that (if it's disappeared from the start menu) depending on compatibility the .exe file to launch the software will be in program files. Without the "old version" type I can't advise more.0 -
For those who dislike the appearance of Windows 10, Classic Shell returns it to a more usable appearance:

Having to do a search of program files via quick search (file explorer), find application in the right folder, double click it and app is then started/loaded. Not ideal but it will do, until it is fixed.0

Ditch Outlook now (I believe MS are planning to do that anyway) and use a different email client, I've used Thunderbird for years and not had any significant issues with it.0

Amazing....I can now see outlook when I use the square in the bottom left corner.0

That's because you've used it, so it appears in the Recently Used Programs list.0

Why ditch Outlook? It does more than it says on the tin, being functional and reasonably easy to configure.
Been using it since Win 3.1 when they introduced Outlook Express which by the way is the progam (app) being dropped by MS in the Fall update- not Outlook

You're right, and I use Outlook myself on my work computer, but I suspect that the OP is using Outlook as a shortcut reference to Outlook Express.0
