I've never used findmyphone.
I'll get the phone back tomorrow hopefully, so i'll find out what the problem actually is. If it turns out to be my fault i'll apologise to the buyer and refund straight away.
Like you have a choice0 -

It WILL be a blocked phone0 -
Hi again,
I've received my phone back. It definitely is my iPhone by the way.
Minus a screen protector but i'm not bothered about that.
I've been trying to find out what the issue actually was. During set-up I selected "restore from icloud back up" and it asked me my icloud log in. Now of course I didn't go any further because I don't have a icloud account.
As far as I can see all content was deleted from the phone. I really don't understand the problem she had.0 -

It could be that she changed her mind and just wanted to return so made up an excuse. Could be that she blocked her icloud account and that is why she can't log on. Either way I'd block her and try selling it again.0 -
Is it worth escalating for eBay to step in. I just find it very unfair that I've paid for postage both ways amounting to £7, someone changes their mind and I'm out of pocket.
Or shall I just move on and re-sell.0 -

Has it been removed from you itunes account ?
Open iTunes
Go to account (view my account) and sign in.
Click on Manage Devices
If the iPhone is in the list, remove it.
Until you do this no-one will be able to set it up unless they have your login and password.

Checked that. The only device listed is my new phone. I signed out of iTunes by using the phone, then deleting all content, and restoring to factory settings.0 -
try and set up the phone as a new iphone and see how far you get0
