Travel insurance info shared amongst providers?

When I was due to renew my travel insurance I happened to mentioned I had been diagnosed with migraines, which then doubled my premium for a family, yearly cover. As I cannot foresee a scenario where having a headache would lead to a claim I thought this was unfair, so took out a policy with another company without mentioning the condition.
My question is, would this new company know of my conversation with the first insurer (I ask because they've sent me an email asking if I have any conditions to declare).
Secondly, if I use the insurance to claim for say a broken leg, something totally unrelated to my migraine, could they refuse to pay out if I hadn't declared the migraine?

they tend to exclude conditions if need be , so if you needed to claim due to a migraine your medical notes would show that and they would refuse the claim
they should pay out for other stuff
they do share information but as far as im aware not stuff like that
but I'd be honest and use a specialist insurer like staysure where policies are cheaper and reflect your riskEx forum ambassador
