Could somebody please explain this.
Currently Santander shares are trading @ approx. £5.15
But the sum I have received/share held for the rights issue is £0.08398031!
200 shares grand total of £16.79.
As it was a 1 for 10 issue I thought I was to get approx. £100
Could somebody please explain the difference
Many thanks

In a nutshell you had the right to buy the new shares at a 17.75% discounted price, they were not given away. Due to the short timescale Santander decided to take away your choice of what to do and bought them for you immediately selling them on the markets and paying you the profit.

Santander cant even get their own rights issue right, let alone their shambolic service to customers lolThe instructions on the box said 'Requires Windows 7 or better'. So I installed LINUX
