Will partner see my side of mortgage application?

I am applying for a mortgage soon and have £3,000 on a credit card [0%] that my partner is not aware of! The mortgage broker advised he didn't think it would effect our borrowing on the mortgage he has looked into for us. However my husband will freak - will he see my side of the application?
Thanks

Erm - morally it's wrong for you to hide this from him when you're entering such a large financial commitment jointly!
Yes, when going through financials you will have to declare and this may be in an interview with the lender or broker which will involve your husband.0 -
These are tricky situations for every one involved.
If your broker is in the habit of providing borrowers with copies of his fact find or the application form, then I suggest the situation should be discussed with your husband beforehand.
Ask your broker.I am a Mortgage Broker

So what would you think if the positions were reversed and you found out he was not being honest with you.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
I send my clients copies of the application and/or factfind via email along with other important documents and ask them to confirm via email they have read and understood the documents.
I know 90% of people do not read them. Thy just reply to say they have.
Some of them reply within minutes of me sending them, when you think there are probably 20 pages of information, there is no chance.
But also I send a copy of our Terms of Business and factfind before meeting them to say have a read so you know what we will go through - very few people have looked at them before we meet up.
So if your husband is the type to just sign and not read, then you are probably not going to have a problem. If your husband is the type to read what is being signed then you might have a problem.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Your husband should be aware of this and if you have any respect for him you would tell him0

Be embarrassing if this was to impact your application in some way and your husband wasn't aware.0

I'd like to think this wasn't genuine as I can't understand the not telling your spouse.Lost my soulmate so life is empty.
I can bear pain myself, he said softly, but I couldna bear yours. That would take more strength than I have -

You'd be amazed. I remember reading once on the Debt Free Wannabe board a woman who was £12,000 in debt and her husband didn't know0 -
If the broker is aware, then it should not cause a problem.Thrugelmir wrote: »Be embarrassing if this was to impact your application in some way and your husband wasn't aware.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. I dont understand why people are os judgemental.
I have a credit card with about £2k on it. Its not a secret, but my Mrs doesnt known about it as far as I am aware.
We have a joint account and so long as I put my share in (which ismore than her share) to cover the bills etc what does it matter?I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
