Larder beetles taking over? Help!

A few months ago I kept noticing black beetles in the bath, with a beige stripe. A google search revealed they were larder beetles. I searched the pantry and found some....I also found a bag in which I believe was their 'nest'. Threw it away and hoovered, mopped that pantry, threw away all of the food, and bleached everything. I also bought diatomaceous earth and put it down. I cleaned the whole house op to bottom and found some in the dog bed feeding on some treats in there. So I threw away the dog bed. Didn't see any for a while, then today found one in the bath and a few days later one in my shoe. I am a nurse and don't take my work shoes in the house, well I take them off at the door and keep them in a rack by the front door. Where is the infestation likely to be coming from? I've checked the pantry and it seems clear.
Also had new flooring in the bathroom so was seeing them in the bath but the floor was taken up even the floorboards and no evidence of a nest. I don't know what to do please help x
