Nest - so how does it learn about hot water?

I can understand how it works with heating. It knows weather forecast, when someones home etc.
But how on earth does it know when you need hot water?

That's right. I have a client with two. Timer and boost.
I wish it could learn as he's really good at running out of hot water. He had a combi before.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

That can set the temps as well as timed/boost for water tank.
