Microbore central heating

Ive got 6 single radiators and hot water (1 bathroom, shower & bath and kitchen sink) running off a 32kw combi.

The boiler is a recent addition so uses either 15mm or 22mm. In the ceiling the central heating pipework is 22mm and then for each radiator it splits off and goes down to microbore (want to say 10mm but could just as easily be 8mm).

The radiators are pretty rough looking and the pipework being micrbore isnt the slightest bit straight and not really boxed in. I want it to look pretty. Parts have been boxed in and wallpapered over other bits have conduit over and other bits are exposed.

Looking at the best way to tidy this all up. The house is warm enough with single radiators but do think doubles look tidier. Im guessing the boiler is big enough to get away with making them doubles? If i do go with doubles would 15mm pipework be better or needed? Whats the best solution for hiding the pipework? Im potentially re skirting at some point so in an ideal world i could hide the pipework behind that (currently quite a narrow skirt) is that an option?.

Any advice appreciated?

Im a fairly capable diy'er so am happy to tackle the job myself but proffesional costings would be good to compare.

Micro bore usually isn't great but the way yours is set up is fine, 22/15mm down to 10mm drops. Changing to doubles will not req upping the pipework to 15mm they will work fine on 10mm.

There will be no problem for the boiler if you change all the rads to doubles, 32kw for hw and 6 doubles will be fine. I'd box the pipework in otherwise to get it straight and clean you would end repipeing the 10mmto 15mm which will add to cost.
