Gdrive and HUDL2

Not sure if my issue is cloud or tablet (or the combination) so advice appreciated.

I store pix for viewing on tablet and shared with others. When viewing a series of them (sampling from one to next) all works fine initially but then after viewing a few (six or so @ 3-4MB each) new pix just freeze with a blue 'activity' bar running across the top of the screen and then stays like that even after exiting back to list of files on Gdrive until all is closed and restarted. It is then ok for another six or so pix.

Any ideas? I seem to have enough free memory on the tablet with still 1.5GB storage still available during problem.

......funnily enough whilst testing this morning (just now!) I could view 17 pix and at second attempt the whole lot, but most unusual. I have unlimited download and a decent speed currently with SKY ADSL.

What app are you viewing the pics with? Google Drive on the tablet?
Clear out that app's cache (settings, apps)
or try a different app. For example, if you're using the Hudl's own app, try 'Photos', Google's photo app, which has a colourful windmill as the icon.

Thanks Almillar for the ideas.
Yes using GDrive within HUDL2.
Cleared cache to no effect.

Set Photos to display Drive as part of albums and all is fine using that app.

......so, it appears that it is GDrive display issue!
