Thanks for this, I spent nearly fifty quid today. One tip though, if you order online the postage is £3.50 but if you phone it nearly a tenner!
Like my avatar, took the photo myself with the free digital camera I bought from boots with all my free points! I love moneysaving.

I just ordered 5 litres for my hall, it should have been £36.99 and it was £11!

Just hope it's in stock *crosses fingers*

    Thanks :D

Just had our dining room re-plastered. My wife looked at Fired Earth shop in Brighton last weekend. Looked lovely but expensive. Now we've picked up the colour for that room and some for the living room for £110. Thanks Grownup1 for the post, but now she'll have me stripping (the paper) off here. I've been looking at colours and trying to watch football!!

Thanks Grownup1!! Just ordered 7.5 lts of limestone for our hall for £20.90 inc p&p. Been menaing to do it for ages but kept putting off getting the paint as I knew it would be expensive. Now I just need a painter with a head for heights!

Can I just add a note of caution to anyone buying Fired Earth paint who has not used it before? - Do get a test pot - I chose Rose mallow from their card and just to be on the safe side I bought a sample pot & took home to try. The assistant in the store said 'it can look quite pink'. If only!
In daylight it looked purply mauve on one wall and a sort of grey on the other, this is in a room with good natural light, and in artificial light it was sort of a beige that bore a slight resemblance to pink.
Thank goodness I did try the colour first.

well the first tin (chinese something or other LOL) resembled nothing like the colour chart - it was supposed to be red but ended up going on as a 1970's aubergine - YUK! A quick trip to B&Q for the Crown Fireside colour hsa now solved the problem. The second tin , is yummy. So 50% hit rate

I've placed an order for 10 litres from them on the first day posted here - no "when we said in stock, we meant out of stock" so potentially en route to me.

By chance I drove past one of their PHYSICAL STORES on the A421 between M1-J14 and Bedford TODAY and that had a big banner "upto 70% off paint" on the gate - I didn't have time to go in, so it may well be that you can get the discontinued/discounted prices IN STORE. I found the store on their website and it did have phone numbers so presumably could phone to check stocks and maybe even 'reserve' on phone for personal collection, and potentially seeing more colour samples/test painting.

My paint arrived today. The tins are a bit dented, but fast delivery and no leakage. Haven't opened the tins up to make sure the colour is how it looks online, so here's hoping my bedroom will end up blue and not blurgh!

I sent them an email asking them to confirm their delivery arrangements for NI. Two days later still no reply. Not impressed - they have a shop in Belfast but that is 40 miles away, but I would have been happy to collect from there at their convenience...but it's impossible to negotiate with silence.

I received my order yesterday. They made it on the 2-3 day delivery scale. I got 2.5L cans instead of 5L but I am told that I was charged for 5L cans (I will have to check my statement when it comes through). It wasn't smooth due to stock issues, but hey, this is a discontinued lines sale and sales may happen quickly. Emails from them were very courteous. One thing: the colour on the tins is definitely lighter than the one seen on screen.

I was impressed, I ordered more today - verdigris, terre vert and weld yellow (they'd better be in stock!). Hopefully by the end of the year I'll have lost all the clinical white I inherited in my house, and will be enjoying those chalky hues instead, along with my clotted cream.

Thanks again. Best offer I've come across in ages.
