    I suspect you will be covered but the insurer may adjust the premium to suit the actual mileage or a realistic estimate.

    What if you needed to claim on the insurance?

    You are 11 months into it and you have done 5100 miles since the policy started. I would not want to risk the chance that they could refuse the claim!

    They wouldn't. They'd just bill you for the difference in policy cost.
