Uber $15 free first timer-Three at home?
overcharged
hi guys
if I sign up to the 'three at home' all you can eat £25 data package (I have the pay as you go sim card posted out to me), I would like to avail of a $15 dollar Uber first-time user promotion that's available upon sign-up so I can use that in LA.
When I looked at the Uber signup screen on my desktop it asked for my mobile number.
However, I won't be using my new Three number until I leave for USA early August.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

You can change your mobile number at any time within the app.0

I don't know about Uber in particular, but most apps remain active on your phone when you replace the SIM card of the number it's registered to with a different one. If you do change its registered number, you will probably need to receive a code by SMS on the original number for verification. A dual-SIM handset simplifies this and many other travel related issues.Evolution, not revolution0

Why not delay sign-up until you are ready to travel?0

Uber only send an SMS to validate the new number, no access to the old number is needed.
I've done this many, many times when traveling and using local SIMs.0 -
Thanks guys -- appreciate it0
