does this now mean that in EVERY case where MIL have issued paperwork , where the data was supplied by the DVLA , the defendent can issue court papers

oh dear this will be fun

I suspect the majority of those cases are DPA breach , + several hundred where they have bailed out at the last minute

its really great to see these sc*mbags getting a dose of their own medicine , where the MCOL system is used against them

the more that do it , the more likely it is that they may rein back their DVLA data checks unless they have a really good reason to get it

we see PE 19 point checks failing and INDIGO , APCOA and VCS getting DVLA data for issues on airports and railway stations and ports , where they have no reasonable cause to access it due to bylaws applying

be interesting to see what the DfT say about this aspect in their current deliberations

MIL collections may rue the day once this can or worms spills out , and the dozy parking companies that fell for it :)

I have a few local people waiting in the wings to do a DPA claim against parking firms for selling DVLA data to MIL. Their cases from MIL were seen off and discontinued a few months ago and I advised them to hang fire, to wait till we had some ammo and wording that works, to sue for compensation.

I think we are getting there.

Right now the BPA are simply a useless organisation and have no credibility. They did this to themselves

We do not need the BPA or the scamming IPC, both have failed.
Only a proper controlled regulator is acceptable

The DVLA will resist any positive involvement whilst they are allowed
    to provide data to scammers.
Only a change in the law will make the DVLA change their bad habits

I still wonder who else profits from the parking scam

My second home is an a hugely popular seaside resort on the Costa Blanca . Parking at this time of year is horrendous. However, there is a vast amount of vacant land. which the council clears each June and makes available for free parking.

There is also P&D parking at about 50p an hour. If you overstay you are fined €3.00 which you can put in the meter or, if you are from another town, ignore.

How have we let ourselves be persecuted by dishonest and unscrupulous PPCs?
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.

It's not us Mr Deep, it is a government approved scam where
Mrs May has failed us yet again.
The biggest failure is Marcus Jones MP of the DCLG, this man
    is just a complete timewaster
