Ikea Mirakulos Oven Help Me

Hi all,
We have had an Ikea kitchen and it's fabulous though we are having issues with the Ikea MIRAKULOS oven as we can not see to cook anything right.
For the past 25 years our old oven was good, it cooked well and did what we want. Now with the Mikakulos Oven we are lost and having tried all the settings we just can not see how to roast Potatoes.
On our old oven we would have the spuds on 180deg whilst cooking the meet then turn up to 220deg for the last 15mins (once the meat is out). They would perfect!
With the Mirakulos though it does not work this way and after the get them out they are just unroasted.
There is the correct tempreture (as we have tested it) but I am thinking it must be down to the way the airflow is from the fan.
We have tried putting the spuds on 220 for 90mins but still the same, tried without the fan, still the same, on the top shelf, middle shelf, bottom shelf, still the same. The only time we have got good roasties is cooking on 240deg for the entire time but this is no good for the meat etc.
Does anyone here have the Mirakulos oven who could give us some pointers.
Thanks
