I have received a parking charge notice from Parkingeye. They have sent photographic evidence but the car entering the car park has the registration VE52ZBG and the one leaving is my car VE52ZDG. If the vehicle is phtotgraphed when it enters the car park how can they say I Incorrectly entered my registration no on my ticket. I challenged the charge of £100 and it was reduced to £20 but I don't think I owe anything.

Are you saying you have already appealed? If so, did you give away the driver's identity? I hope not.

Have you read the Sticky thread for NEWBIES that tells you how to deal with this scam industry? If not, you need to read that first and then post back here if you have any further queries.

Appears their famous 19-point check has failed this time. Why not point it out to them.

This will be fun if it gets to court. Ask them to take you there to justify why £20 should be paid for their mistake.

Add that you want £250 for misusing your personal details when they had no cause to have them.

What a load of nonsense. Truly bizarre from PE but then it is PE.

Take it to POPLA, but show us your draft appeal first. WE will help but please first get the template appeal points from post #3 of the NEWBIES thread to start your appeal off.

    Also:

    - complain to the BPA - aos@britishparking.co.uk

    - complain to the DVLA - david.dunford@dvla.gsi.gov.uk

    - Complain to your MP (please do, we need to see this done MUCH more):
