interest free credit for 6 months

I recently wanted to purchase a cooker using the sellers offer of 6 months interest free, however I was refused because they said my income was too low. I am on State Pension circa £600 per month, I own my house, my credit score is nearly the maximum. My question is, how can I get credit for these smaller items?

You may not, on a low income. You're unlikely to get a 0% offer on a card.
Saving up may be the only answer.0 -

Your credit score doesn't mean anything since only you see it. They would have used your credit history.0
