Anyone flown Manchester Toronto

Hi all

We're looking to book some flights to visit relatives in Toronto next May. Air Transat are the only ones who fly direct and are coming out cheapest but I've read some awful reviews.

Anyone done the flight and can recommend either Air Transat or another airline (not direct). OH is 6'3" and fairly broad so needs decent seat width and leg room, however we can only afford Economy.

Thanks

Air Canada also fly direct from Manchester to Toronto. My daughter plus her two young children did this flight a month ago. No complaints about the flight or airline.

    That's useful to know thanks.

Flew with Transat a few times years ago. Vowed not to fly with them again due to condition of the aircraft. They may have improved and now use better planes. Transat have Premium economy seats if you want to splash out for a little more room etc.

If I looking to book to Toronto from Man now I would usually choose AA via Phl, they use the A330 which is quite a nice aircraft even in eonomy. Or would look for BA via Heathrow.

Had a look on the website, but they don't seem to do direct flights in May, or maybe the schedule's not been updated yet

These flights are operated by their Rouge airline, which means smaller legroom and pricier extras. They do offer more extra legroom seats though.
