New Build House - Integrated Appliances - SOGA?

Morning All,
Moved into a new build house 13 months ago.
All integrated appliances are Zanussi with a one year manufacturers warranty.
Over the weekend the dishwasher has broken down, refuses to drain. Checked all filters and drains which are all clear. Suspect its the drain pump that's gone.
Builder is telling me to speak to the manufacturer who I assume will say "sorry, out of warranty"
I think a dish washer should last longer than 13 months
1: Am I protected by SOGA?
2: If so i'd normally take this up with the retailer. Who in this case i guess is the builder?
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

But the OP purchased a house. Consumer Rights don't apply to property purchases.0 -
Did you buy the dishwashers as part of your overall contract? Or did you buy them separately?
If the dishwasher was included with the property, you may be out of luck.
As Leo202 points out, house sales are not covered by the Consumer Rights Act. There is a general lack of consumer legislation applicable to house contracts. Either the entire contract falls within the CRA or none of it does - there is no scope for the CRA to apply to only part of the contract such as appliances.
Call Zanussi and see what they say - they might do a repair for a fee.0
