Hi...the Canadian economy is booming despite the economic woes in the US http://www.cbc.ca/money/story/2007/10/05/looniejump.html ....as suggested the loonie is very strong against the pound...I remember getting over $2.50 Can. to £ a few years back...on the one hand, the latest is good news for employment opportunities but the obvious downside is less money after conversion to loonies....hmm...is it time to make the move back home with my English plumber???

Unfortunately I couldn't get work on teh left coast although I aim to end up on Van Island, but I have got a great job lined up in montreal so cant wait.0
