Does an exceede credit limit for >24 hrs mean a bad rating?

Options
Hi!

Ok, daft situation. I've been traveling, and my aunt set up a rental car for me at the airport. I knew I needed to lay a deposit, but they slapped on a full €1100 deposit and a €60 fuel deposit on my credit card, which took me from a £0 balance to £30 over. My bank (Lloyds) sent a text, I rang up and made a direct payment all in the space of an hour, and on a Sunday too. Now, I did have a perfect 999 score and I'm just about to file a mortgage application for my first home. Lloyds said they won't levy any charges for going over the limit, but is this going to hurt my score?

Cheers!

If you resolved it within the day, it shouldn't be reported.

Your 999 score is fictional, so don't worry if that drops.

Id be more concerned what the poor weather is doing to your file.

Your score will be fine, only you see it, thehistory is what everyone else can see.
