Enable IPv6 on LAN? (router settings)

I have it disabled on Router and on PC's, I think I will be dead before it is really needed.
IANA have been making the owners of /8 IPv4 blocks return the majority of their block and is reallocating them. The chuffing DHSS (now DWP) had one for goodness sake, why they needed one whole block of 16 million addresses when only 256 such blocks exist I'll never know.
This eases the pressure for now, but they are still being used up. It's so easy to get them, I created an AWS VM this week and allocated a static IPv4 address to it, which is another gone with a few clicks on my keyboard at work. IPv4 address exhaustion is an actual thing that will happen.Proud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20230 -

I know, but if it comes to me using a mobile connection at home to serve my network (e.g. as a backup if someone drives into the telegraph pole) then I'll get my ISP to send my normal IPv4 and IPv6 addresses down it by L2TP.Proud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20230
