NHS Childcare Bursary and DRO

Bit of a strange one but I'm shortly going to apply for a DRO as I have nearly 16k debt and meet all the criteria but I am concerned about the money I receive towards my childcare bursary (I'm an NHS student)
Costs are estimated at the start of September for the year, and reconciled every quarter, if I have been underpaid I will receive a lump sum in my bank account. For example this quarter I have been underpaid £228, but this is money to replace what I've had to beg borrow and steal (not literally) to make the childcare payment in the first place but on paper it looks as if I've been given a large amount of money. Does anyone know if this would this void my DRO or would I be able to continue if I could show proof of what it's for?

Money sitting in a bank account would be regarded as an asset if it is more than is required to get you to the next 'payday'.

If you are saying the lump sum is likely to be around that figure of £228 then it would cause no problem, as you have an asset limit of £1000, unless it adds to other assets and takes you over the limit.

Once you are in a DRO the rules become more flexible and it is unlikely you will lose your DRO with assets up to £1990 although they will look at various factors such as your health, age, liabilities etc.
