October 2017 Mortgage Free - The Big Day

I saw Martin Lewis on a breakfast show and joined the website that same morning. A few things happened but I remained focus on sorting my finances out as I had kids to thing about.
So I over paid a little each month as I wanted to finish paying off my mortgage before my son turned 18. Well I'm glad to say I will have be mortgage FREE 2 years early. I can't wait because its been a struggle.
We have done without for a long time. Things still won't be all roses but not having to pay that one big bill is going to be a blessing.
I have zero balances on my 2 credit cards. This board has truely been inspirational.
As my family needs more space I do plan to convert my garage but I'm going to take my time and workout how to finance the renovation.
