Hoover cyclonic stick vacuum cleaner rechargeable stopped working

If the charger light no longer illuminates, then the issue is a failed charger, not a blown motor! It takes about 20 seconds to check for charger output with a multimeter. The other possibility is a failed battery: These rarely last more than 2 years even on decent brands, and your Hoover will be a cheap Chinese clone model.
If it's lasted two years, it's done well. Next time get a Dyson or Bosch cordless. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -

So we fall back on the warranty but it is out of warranty, by around 6 months. So we opt for repair to find it has been discontinued and Hoover have no spares and not planning to either, and there is no EU legislation At All which covers availability of spares........
Again...Have you read MSE's Consumer Rights guide yet?
If so, surely you read this:You have up to six years after you bought a good to complain.0
