I have a class but I also have a subject specialism so bracing myself for a busy (and unusual 😱) term! XOriginal mortgage £112,000 . Final payment due August 2027.

I know that life’s storm clouds will roll in a some point but enjoying the current calm 😀
I wish I’d realised the huge correlation between physical health and mental health sooner. When I take care of myself I feel so much better and seem to achieve so much more. I also bloody love a bubble bath and a coffee in bed!
Hope all is good with you xOriginal mortgage £112,000 . Final payment due August 2027.

I have also been trying cow's milk alternatives, mainly because I have never been that keen on milk. I have tried almond milk and oat milk (my favourite) but not soya yet. My DD says I am breakfast vegan
breakfast vegan is brilliant 😂😂. Give soya a try - it’s my favourite, it tastes really creamy. Mind you, I drink coffee do it may not be as nice in tea. It’s also lovely on cereal. Have you tried non dairy yogurt? The Aldi blueberry one is sooooo nice 😀

Evening
Back to work tomorrow 😱😱. Today has all been about planning for survival 😂. Having had a lovely, chilled weekend with family I felt I needed to focus on getting stuff done!
I managed to get my planning done on Saturday and tidied the garden on Sunday around going out for lunch with family and friends (which was such a treat - l’ve not eaten out since Christmas!!).
Today’s small steps to freedom and happiness included ;
Slept in until 7.15 😀
Two cups of coffee in bed and a good read of my CS book
Took the dog for a trail run - blue skies and sunshine. You could see for miles. Love my little part of the world 🙂
Emptied and disinfected the bin and took out and sorted the recycling.
Dusted, hoovered and mopped downstairs and my bedroom
Did two loads of laundry and got it line dried.
Made sourdough pizza base for dinner and one for the freezer
Re-read all the risk assessments and procedures ready for school opening
Finished the weeding
Did the food prep for this week (overnight oats, granola, berry compote, dried fruit and nut snack pots, spicy baked chickpeas, roasted green beans in garlic and herbs, cous cous salad ,hummus, carrot sticks, bbq pulled jackfruit and enchiladas for tomorrow’s dinner using l/o chilli and white sauce from the freezer.
Cheap, healthy eats (red berries, vegan vanilla yogurt and hm granola for breakfast, rice cakes, almond butter and sliced apple for lunch and hm vegan sourdough pizza and salad for dinner)
Coloured my hair - used a whole box of £land colour, desperate times 😂😂
Painted my toenails and fake tanned my arms and legs in anticipation of wearing a dress!
Long evening walk in the sunshine with the dog
A nice, long chat and video call with OH - miss him so much but it will soon be Friday 😀
Went to see my mum who is on really good form.
A NSD
Did my To Do list for tomorrow
Set my alarm 😱😱
I’m now in bed with a herbal tea and my book. I always sleep really badly the night before going back to work so hopefully a relaxing bedtime routine will do the trick,
Hoping you’ve all had a lovely BH weekend.
PP xx
