Car finance and broken car

Hello all I purchased a car on finance over 2 months ago and after driving lees than 3 miles from the garage it got a electrical fault on the central locking it has been in the garage ever since as struggling to fix. I am paying the finance at the moment but want to know where I stand as the finance company don't want to know. Can anyone advise what I can do please.
