Windows update.

Options
A couple of days ago (19th) my Windows 10 64bit laptop installed a large Windows "critical" update.
It took over an hour yesterday morning to install and full boot up!
Since then, on start up, I get the following message on my screen "There was a problem starting C:\Windows\System32\LogiLDA.dll".
I've tried a system restore to before the update but after completing the process there's a message that restore couldn't be completed.
Any help or suggestions as to how to stop the start up message would be appreciated.
Since the update the p.c. seems to be a bit sluggish and now my Windows log in box is superimposed on the start screen picture!
