Vanquis Repayment Option Plan

Hi all

I had a letter from Vanquis yesterday detailing that there had been a quality review of my account.

My account has been refunded £950, which has reduced my balance to almost £0. Whilst I'm delighted that this happened, I can't help but feel that all these years I've been paying interest on a balance that should of been smaller?

Any advice on how i can chase/word this to Vanquis?

Thanks

The refund would likely be because of the interest, so that's already taken into account.

You've got your account cleared pretty much. Trying for more is just greed.

A quick note saying thanks should be enough.
  • Haha. Just wondered.
  • I don't think its greed. I've suffered for years because of this by the looks.

If you were specific about what the refund is for you might get more suggestions.

As it is, it looks like you've got lucky with £950 and still want to screw them for more.

Most likely any action they've taken will include a reimbursement of charges and interest. But I'm basing that on a regulatory expectation.

Did you complain that you were suffering?
I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.

I'm not sure how much further you think you would be able to take it.
