LIverpool airport parking.. noob..

All, have read numerous posts here but unsure about my situation.
Out of town cabbie and was dropping someone off today when I did tell them about the parking charge and they advised me about the dropped 2, wasn't clear when we got to the airport and to be honest we were not sure on where to go, so turned round and went back.
We used an entrance which was quite wide and I think the third on the left to turn round in as there's no turning circle marked or advised?
And at no point did we stop to let anyone out and proceeded to the main drop off, paid £3 and off I went.
Is this something that would be subject to one of these charges? I don't remember seeing a van? But there were some parked up in the carpark but no one was in them? And again no one got out but we were looking where to go.
