Sorry Snoop,
1. Borrowers rarely ask about a fraction of these items.
2. None of these issues will convince our subject to decide to give their business to our triallist.
Two things are true.
It's always about what you feel, not what you think.
It's dangerous to assume the important points
Good morning all.. Oh my this post is becoming interesting. Amnblog, that was a wonderful thing to support OP! I am never disappointed when I come here and learn from the advice of others to support others. You have really got me thinking now.
Could you help me please to understand from a customers point of view, point 1: Borrowers rarely ask about a fraction of these items.
I know from learning the basics I have never applied for a mortgage before, but my daughter will next year, that these issues will weigh heavily on my mind.. I would certainly want to know all the things I mentioned. In short how to manage the mortgage offer!
From reading the guides on here.. There is plenty of information on how to get the best deals. The customer has the power to compare the best deals from the many. For them to make these comparisons on what works for them, what information would they need to help them to decide on what is the right choice for them? As a borrower I would definitely need to know the things I listed from a customers point of view..
As for our OP.. I cross my fingers with your interview!! I am sure you will do very well.. Please let us know how you got along with it..0 -
You may worry about rates and fees Snoop.
Your daughter won't.
She will be worrying about whether the deal will go through.
If Dennis has her convinced he will make it happen he will get her business. If he gives her any cause for concern, she will go elsewhere.I am a Mortgage Broker

Occasionally, we get an 'analytical' who is focused on the detail.
Most don't understand the detail, are not interested in it, and do not focus on it.I am a Mortgage Broker

Agree.
Remember myself as a FTB back in 2011. I didn`t think about fees, interest rates and etc. I just was praying for my mortgage to be accepted. My mum worried though.
Now I am mature ;-) and worrying about fees, interest rates and service. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
