Mortgage with a CCJ
Comments

I have spoken to a broker today. He said Natwest is our only option with the CCJ being 3 years old and satisfied. The CCJ was for £535, £35 over most lenders limit
. He said a 15% deposit is a better idea, but means getting an extra £7,000. Which has caused us a bit of a headache. Does anyone have any mortgage brokers they'd reccomend given the circumstances? Thanks, Marcus. 0 -

Iain at Create Finance got my mortgage sorted (completion today fingers crossed!!).
Myself and partner had credit issues but we've got a 95% LTV mortgage with Aldermore.
Certainly worth chatting with him about your options0 -

I have got a mortgage advisor looking into it now. Ive sent off mine and my partners credit file from Experian and Noddle as he requested.
Out of curiosity I've been on Halifax's website and got an AIP. Although, I'd rather have a secure mortgage agreement before I looked at houses given the circumstances.
You're lucky Halifax only do a soft search for their AIP. Don't start trying to get AIPs yourself or else you're in danger of leaving markers on your credit file and you'll be stuck.0
