Hi there
I am disputing a parking ticket issued to me for parking in a designated parking space for my place of work. I am entitled to park there but the logging in machine was out of order on the day although the camera was not. It is the photographic evidence that is being used against me.
It is now at a point where I have been sent a form asking if I am willing to go to small calims mediation. I have absolutely no intention of paying this so my question is this: If I agree to go through with the SCM does that mean I am admitting liability? I am worried that they could use it against me, so should I say no and let them take it to court?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Please read post #2 of the NEWBIES thread, the post linked about 'what to do when' has bargepole explaining every stage including which boxes to tick on that DQ form, and why NOT to agree to Mediation.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
