I love InstaGrand every morning at 8:15, essential quizzing!! I am Q radio on the drive into work. 8 is generally as high as I can ever get though.

I listen in work to Nolan on occasion, mostly via his audioboom links he posts on twitter.

If he quits, is he going to get that in the private sector?

Yeah, I reckon everyone on that list would get paid more by Sky and the likes, and have probably turned down higher offers.
Would you reject a higher paid job?
Apparently Ant and Dec are on £30M, which is more than all of this BBC list put together, just for a bit of context.

Susanna Reid also left BBC to go to ITV for a hefty pay increase.

    Never heard of him.

How come somebody I have never heard of is "worth" so much?

If he didn't exist, there'd be plenty of other talent to take his place.

    Thats a bit harsh! :rotfl:

    On who though?

I think JK show is much more toxic and sneering, and provides nothing but a circus for those at home during the day with nothing better to do than look at the state of the people on there and not feel so bad about themselves.

Kinda like the poverty !!!!!! shows on tv.

At least Nolan is striving to do more.

And therefore worth more than nolan, who is not as pretty.

If a commercial station wants to pay more, good luck to them. BBC radio is not a business. That's why the salaries are questioned.

Since Nolan is allegedly broke, I think he is unlikely to have turned down a higher paid job.

The context is the BBC is not a commercial entity. Salaries are paid through public funding and licence fees.
