Insurance for used phones purchased on eBay?

I recently bought a used Samsung Galaxy S8+ from eBay.
It arrived in A+ condition, it was practically brand new.
They couldn't have owned it more than two months, as the phone's release date was only a few days before May. However, due to the condition of the phone, I highly doubt they'd owned it for more than a few weeks at most.
Insurance2Go or Gadget Insurance won't insure it as it was not brand new.
Does anyone know of any insurance company (not bank) that would insure the phone?

Add it to your home insurance?

Home insurance due to the value of the unit may be a good bet.
Can't think of any gadget providers off the top of my head who insure verified refurbs.
FYI if you go for home insurance make sure you have adequate coverage; some lower-grade policies only cover up to £500 which wouldn't replace it new-for-old. If need be, make sure you have personal possessions cover away from home, also.0
