Hi everyone.
Ive tried looking through posts to see if this has already been answered but i cant find anything, Sorry if ive just missed it.
Last november I had a PIP assessment. I was originally on middle care and high mobility DLA. It got put down to just middle care and no mobility. I ended up going to a tribunal last month and won. They have now put me on enhanced care and enhanced mobility.
Ive been trying to look up how far they will back date it? Does it take effect from the tribunal date, 6 months or back to when they made the decision to take away the mobility last year?
Also is there a time scale on how long they take to sort out the payment?
Im so sorry if this has all been asked before.:)

It should be backdated to November (when your disability award was reduced); i.e you should be put back into the same position as if the DWP had made the correct decision in the first instance.
The DWP are taking some time to process backdates (there's a backlog!!). If you work to approx 2 months that would be reasonable. You may need to chase them.Alice Holt Forest situated some 4 miles south of Farnham forms the most northerly gateway to the South Downs National Park.0 -
Thanks for your reply Alice.
I'll wait for a bit longer then, good way to save up lol.0
