Hi, received a letter for a fine which l had paid for an hour and was in the hour but just pur one letter wrong for car reg what should l do have emailed them but would l still have to pay

Was this a council penalty charge or private parking charge?
If the latter, what is the name of the parking company please, what country was this in, did you give away the driver's identity (hope not) or did you appeal as keeper, and have you read the Sticky thread for NEWBIES yet?
